Thank you for your patience Musicman100, Adam Smith and Craig MacDonald! Commitment, Consistency. I’ve been a Roland customer since day one (my first Roland’s were analog) and I’ve seen massive support (in the form of sound sets) like the SRX series of boards and synthesizers they were compatible with and virtually no support for other units like the V-Synth XT. When I bought my V-Synth GT I was told (at NAMM) that there was going to be ongoing support for it, and while there were initially some good updates and then nothing. I realize that you can’t go back and create patches for obsolete gear but I would hope that if it is still in your catalog you will post patches for it. Lastly, please keep Axial moving forward.
February 11, 2014 @ 11:32 pm. Absolutely love these new libraries. I’m a working bass player who uses the GAIA as a bass synth. The bass libraries are fantastic. Would be great to have a set of, say, classic bass synth sounds from famous tunes. Recreating classic sounds off the the big records. I’ve made a few patches like this, I’d be happy to share them.
Additionally, would love to see something similar to the Synth Legends for GAIA as well. I know they’d only be approximations, as it doesn’t have all the filters and waveforms that the Jupiters have, but it would be great as a starting point to work from them.
July 23, 2013 @ 2:55 am. OV, when the sounds become available for the VR-09, we don’t want to load them as registration sets, because that would delete our own custom registrations!
We need to be able to load the sounds in individually and audition them! Can you look into this a lit tile further for us. I don’t want to lose my own custom registrations when I load in one of these sounds. Also, if you could give us some timeframe as to when this will become available for the VR-09 that would be much appreciated. OV Valle Roland US June 12, 2013 @ 4:42 pm. Looks very exciting for synth lovers. A couple of questions.
When will this become available for the VR-09, which uses the same VA synth engine (albiet scaled back somewhat) as the higher end Jupiter synths. Second question, how do we actually access these sounds, and are they free or is there a cost associated with them. Last but not least, how will we load these sounds into our VR-09, we currently only have the ability to load/save entire “registration sets” to USB stick and the ipad editor currently has no library capabilities.? Thanks Craig. OV Valle Roland US May 30, 2013 @ 1:50 pm. Yes, when sounds become available in Axial for the VR-09.
